The Milli Vanilli of Electronic Music...Justice caught unplugged??

A photo has surface of Justice performing with the controller run by Gaspard clearly not plugged in. The photo has no date, but it is presumably from their recent US "DJ tour" where URB saw them using this set-up at HARD Haunted Mansion. Of course, you can see the USB cable lying next to the controller....

Why do electronic musicians need to fake it with some little buttons and knobs? And why does the audience need artists to be doing something anyways. Honestly everyone? Do most people who go to shows even know what the fuck the artists are doing on stage anyways? wheather with a turntable or some little box with buttons and sliders? It's just a fasaude. "act like your doing something please" or I don't feel like I'm getting my money's worth. Let's all be fake to each other and everything will be fine I guess... What a strange world we live in.

AND WHY DO THEY LOOK LIKE MOTORHEAD'S ROADIES? WONDER HOW LEMMY FEELS ABOUT ALL THIS?

I'm putting a proposition on the ballot next year that will require all electronic artists to project their laptop screens on to the wall behind them.

Also I think we need to decriminalize Swiss Cheese. ENOUGH ALREADY!

maybe they should bypass the controllers altogether and just play the cables. now THAT would be more entertaining.

I hope nobody realizes that I don't actually play my drums at shows...

i'm sure there is an explanation. maybe their set hadn't started yet, and this was taken as they were loading the first track...

or maybe it just got yanked out by accident...it is sitting right there

or maybe the unit is wireless...okay, maybe not..but i still have faith :-)

I don't think so... below was thier response.. doesn't make any sense.. How does a screen go from blue to black? what kinda computer are they useing? And once the cable is unpluged the whole midi controller goes off. He would have seen it. And you can't just plug the stupid thing in. You have to reboot the program if not the computer to get it to work again..

I still love justice but honestly it's fake. The music industry is fake. it's entertainment. Didn't everyone get the memo? =)

Justice respond, ‘The USB cable fell out!’
“I didn’t notice at first, because as you can see I was looking at the computer to launch the next vocal hook and right after I realised that the blue screen went black, so there was no way possible it could work. So I plugged it back in, big deal! And the next thing you know is this picture.”
